Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the social-media management application (the “Service”) operated by AnkleBreaker Studio (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service is a self-hosted tool that lets authorized users schedule, publish, and manage content across connected third-party social-media accounts. It is provided for the internal use of AnkleBreaker Studio and its authorized team members.
2. Eligibility and authorized use
Access is limited to individuals expressly authorized by AnkleBreaker Studio. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the social-media accounts you connect. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Connected accounts and third-party platforms
The Service interoperates with third-party platforms (which may include X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Mastodon, Bluesky, and Discord). Your use of each platform through the Service is also subject to that platform’s own terms, policies, and developer or API agreements. You are solely responsible for complying with them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these platforms, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes, or actions.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or otherwise violates a connected platform’s policies;
- Send spam or engage in inauthentic, automated, or abusive behavior prohibited by any connected platform;
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other accounts;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. You grant us the permissions necessary to host, process, schedule, and transmit that content to the platforms you select, solely to operate the Service on your behalf. You represent that you have the rights necessary to publish the content you submit.
6. Intellectual property
The Service is based on the open-source Postiz project and is subject to its applicable licenses. These Terms do not grant you rights in our or any third party’s trademarks, logos, or branding.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduled posts will always be delivered, since delivery depends on third-party platforms outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnkleBreaker Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnkleBreaker Studio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party platform’s policies.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.
11. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in France will have jurisdiction over any dispute, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
